Mid June report

Wow June has been crazy. I have never seen weather like this up here this time of year. it has been 90 plus degrees and bright sunny skies for the first two weeks of June. water temps up near 75 degrees already. Walleye Fishing has still been very good most days until about mid afternoon. If the wind is blowing the bite stays pretty steady all day. 20-40 fish walleye days are typical this time of year. The first week of June still held most fish shallow on the rocks or weeds. The 2nd week of June we have seen more fish pushing out deeper to the mud and gravel as the big hatches increase out in those areas. bobber fishing the tops of the mud flats or lindy rigging the edges of the flats has been my go to presentation lately.
