Late July Report

Lots and lots of bug hatches this week! This has made the walleye bite very tough. Most of my trips this week we spent a few hours on walleye fishing then switched over to small mouth bass fishing. The bass bite on the calm days has been on fire with topwater lures. When we see the bass surfacing to eat the bugs on the water we just throw in that direction and bam they are on. Extremely fun way to fish when the conditions are right!
