Mille Lacs Fishing Guide Pat Burch with a big smallmouth on the Lindy Watsit Jig

Here are a few pics of some of the big smallmouth bass I caught on Mille Lacs. Was out pitching some rocks in the 12-14 foot range with the Lindy Watsit Jig and the smallies and a few walleyes seemed to really take a liking to my offering.. The lindy watsit jig is an odd looking bait, Hence they named it the Watsit!! I think the smallmouth bass on Mille Lacs lake think it resembles a crawfish. The watsit has little tentacles hanging out the sides of it along with a split end tail. I usually get them on the orange head brown body Watsit jig combo in 1/8 oz but not this day they for some reason were just gobbling up the chartruse! Get out and give them a try you might just be surprised with what you catch.
