Walleye Fishing over the last week has been great. We are getting most of keeper walleyes 21-23 inches and our bigger walleyes 24-27 inchers out in the deeper water transition areas or mud flats. Many nice jumbo perch are roaming these same areas as well. Evening bobber fishing on the reefs is still going okay but a lot of smaller walleyes and bass are in those areas, but it can be fast action for the kiddos!
If you are heading to the lake on the 4th to fish or watch the evening fireworks please be safe, wear your life jacket and make sure you have good lighting on your boat
