Mille Lacs Fishing Report August update

The first few weeks of August has been on fire for smallmouth bass. Should call it hawgust instead of August. Lots of 4 and 5 pound smallies being caught. Most of them have been caught in 10-15ft of water. Remember Sept. 1st you can keep walleye again. 1 per person in the 20-23 inch slot. Should be some fun fall fishing coming up. I have some evening and weekend times still available in September
